RE: Official Call to Fall Leadership Conference

This is your Official Call to Fall Leadership Conference 2010
““Rock’n again in 2010”, hosted by the St. Anthony Kinettes will be held in St Anthony, Newfoundland October 15 – 17, 2010. The registration form and other information will be available soon to each club online at our District Website.
The St Anthony Kinette Club together with your DEC will be very busy over the summer planning a great weekend of education, fun and fellowship with just a little business mixed in. We hope that you will make the time to come.
Any resolutions must be submitted to the District SecretarylCoordinator 40 days prior to the Fall Leadership Conference. A copy of all resolutions to be included in the conference agenda shall be forwarded to all Club Presidents a minimum of 30 days prior to the date of the conference.
The online registration form is available by using the link called "FLC 2010 Registrations" on the top menu of the website. Also, all the FLC documentation (including a pdf of the registration form) is available under Kin Documents.

Fellow kin,
As you might already be aware, one of our lifetime members, Ray Larade, has had failing health since October of last year. Doctors ran test after test and Ray was finally operated for 4 bypass surgeries in December. Things seemed to be getting better for our friend but unfortunately soon after they got the results from his surgery doctors also diagnosed him with leukemia.
Ray went to Quebec to get more tests done and to begin treatments. He has since received a bone marrow transplant and is getting radiation treatments in Quebec. Since his treatments are given every 2 days Ray has had to stay in Quebec this whole time and will remain there for another several months.
Unfortunately, Ray has been out of work the whole time and will not be able to go back until he is strong enough; this could go into next year. Ray’s personal funds have dwindled and he now has very little source of revenue to fund his wellbeing and needs financial support as much as he needs our positive thoughts.
We, in the Edmundston region have already started a special collection to help our friend and I appeal to you, my fellow kin, to use your generosity to come in aid of one of our own.
Cheques may be made in Ray Larade’s name and sent to our club. Thanking you in advance for your very generous help.
